Hi, I’m Dani Whiting.

Hi, My new website is still under construction but you can email me at dani@joyfullyrootedwellness.com and book a consultation anytime!

Check back again soon for more!!

I am a mother, wife, yoga instructor, permaculture designer, herbalist, Ayurvedic nutrition coach, and an overall health and wellness coach. I have been passionate about food and health most of my life. But I hadn’t realized that I was looking at it all wrong until I found farming and yoga!

I followed programs to lose weight fast, worked out constantly, or starved my body of what it needed! What I wasn’t seeing was the constant stress that I was putting on my system. Whether or not I got the results, I was never….Happy with the way I looked or felt. Sound familiar?

When I became a permaculture designer, I realized the importance of fresh, organic foods. I could even taste the difference. With my yoga and coaching certification, I understand the importance of the mind-body connection. By listening to your body and tuning into your thoughts, emotions, and sensations, you can truly nourish yourself. That means, eliminating things that are wreaking havoc on your system.

I’m talking about STRESS! We all experience it, and if not checked, it will take a toll on our system.

We are what we can digest! Yup, you read that correctly. Even if we eat perfectly, I’m talking whole grains, complex carbs, fats, proteins, and all the trace minerals; we still might not be absorbing the key nutrients. Our gut is the source of all health, and usually the root of all imbalances. The food we eat communicates with our brain, which sends signals everywhere in the body. If we are stressed, those signals are stolen and that’s when trouble strikes!

I use many approaches to finding health and wellness, one being Ayurveda, a 5000-year-old practice of assessing our bodies and minds to heal.

As your coach, I work with you on all aspects of health, from nutrition, stress management, building healthy habits, fitness, and noticing or dropping old habits that no longer serve you. Together, you and I curate a plan that allows you to live happier, healthier, and more vibrant than you ever thought possible.

Philosophies

My nutrition philosophy is based on helping clients achieve a sustainable, healthy lifestyle, not a quick fix. I value each client relationship and tailor nutrition services to fit your lifestyle. It is my mission to help clients develop a positive relationship with food and exercise, and achieve your health goals for life.

my experience

One of the biggest challenges I hear from clients is finding reliable sources of health advice. The internet is a big and scary place full of conflicting opinions: from miracle ingredients and fad diets to detoxes and “nutrition gurus” selling their own products. It’s hard to know who to trust. I am a certified Health Coach with a concentration in Hormone Health, a certified Ayurvedic Nutrition Coach, a certified yoga instructor in Vinyasa, Yin, Nidra, Pre/Postnatal (and I’m working towards becoming a yoga therapist). I am also certified in Herbal Medicine Making. I get to know you and your body and what you need and want from your nutrition.
