Keto fat bombs

Fat burns fat! Yup, I know, we have been trained to stay away from fat because our culture has told us we would get fat! But our body needs fat to metabolize…everything! When in the follicular phase use pumpkin seed butter. During the luteal phase make these with tahini or sunflower seed butter. Maca packs high levels of iron and iodine to promote healthy cells and to help keep your metabolism on track. Its big doses of potassium help digestion and make muscles happy. Maca is also rich in calcium, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nut butter of choice or coconut butter (I’ll either do 1/4 cup pumpkin or tahini and the other 1/4 cup cashew butter)

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or ghee (I do half and half, ghee is an acquired taste, but ghee is the easiest oil to digest.)

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 scoop of unflavored protein powder

  • 1 tsp Maca powder

Instructions

  • Stir all ingredients together until smooth.

  • Pour into silicone ice cube trays, candy molds, or silicone cupcake molds. Freeze for an hour.

  • Store in the freezer or fridge.

  • Enjoy!!!
